Untitled Café, nestled beneath Elsternwick’s Melbourne Studio of Art, is a bright, friendly café serving Five Senses coffee, crunchy baguettes and an impressive all-day breakfast menu.
The cheerful space, located on the somewhat lonely end of Glenhuntly Road, comprises street side tables, bench seating and a communal table piled with blank postcards and coloured pencils. Customers are encouraged to paint, sketch and generally be creative in between sipping on their lattes. Black and white silent films like Metropolis are projected on a white expanse of wall, filling the space with a sense of nostalgia while hinting at the creativity blooming upstairs…
